Notes:

Group “A” is the faster / longer run – typically circa 18 mph 50 to 80 miles

Group “B” is the medium pace / shorter run – typically c.16 mph 40 to 60 miles.  The Run Leader will, generally, be Roger Gardner.

Group “C”, if there is one, is the slower pace / short run – typically c.14 mph 30 to 50 miles

Contact Roger Gardner (01926 613143) if you are interested in the Weston Super Mare weekend

* Dates may be subject to change, meet at the Town Hall as normal

NOTE: post 17 Feb, club rides continue throughout the racing season, destination and leader decided on the day.

Sunday rides cater for both the steadier pace (length 3 - 4 hours including a tea stop) and for the faster rider using the time as training (average over 50 miles). Riders can join either the 'fast' or 'steady' groups. Most rides are finished by 2pm. See the 3 step guide with pictures...

Day: Sunday mornings
Meeting point: Leamington Town Hall
Start: Leave at 9:10am prompt
Leader: Already determined - see list below
Route: Determined by Leader with general destination as per list
Pace: 'Steady' group or 'fast' group. For the 'fast' group the pace is brisk but not "eyeballs-out" (until last 15 miles or so - then it is every man / lady for themselves!)
Note: The 'fast' group may not be stopping at the cafe so be prepared - come armed with bananas, energy bars and a drink for "on-the-move" consumption. Please carry spare inner tubes / tools /mobile 'phone - don't let your bad planning spoil it for your team mates!

A 3 step guide to a typical Sunday

Step 2: Cycle through the wonderful countryside
